The sea front offers a 2 mile promenade with views out to beachy head and Eastbourne, with ample parking along the seafront if you wanted to take a look during your visit.
Bexhill on Sea also offers a number of activities for the young and old, from lawn bowls to a swimming pool with waves and a slide.
There is also a good selection of shops just off the sea front and also the usual big supermarkets in Bexhill such as Tesco, Sainsburys and Lidl's. But not far away are much larger shopping complexes at Hastings and Eastbourne.
For those interested in history there are many places to visit.
Battle only 5 miles away which was built on the very site of the famous battle of 1066 and plenty of castles and gardens such as Bodiam and Hersmonceux.
Eastbourne is only 12 miles away with its famous Beachy Head and some lovely walks along the Seven Sisters and across the South Downs.
In Hastings, 5 miles away, is a more modern seaside resort with ample for the young to do.
With many more places within easy reach of the area and for those wishing to visit London 1 hour 20 minutes by train from Battle Station.
